I have to admit to entertaining the notion of switching to cloth for Grommet now that she's potty trained for solids. She shows no interest in giving up the diapers and peeing in the potty though, and the cloth ones would be better for the environment and maybe let her feel wet enough that she'd have more incentive to use the potty?

But cloth diapers for poop? I just can't go that far in my head yet.

1. Harry: Oh no! I wonder if it's just his way of adjusting to a new system at your house? I hope that you, Kile, Harry, and the school counselor can come to a resolution that's good for everyone.

2. Cloth diapers: I must admit that I am highly predjudice against them. When I was 16, I babysat for somebody who had a diaper service and I had been blissfully ignorant of the fact that people still used cloth. Yeah. And there were a few kids in my church who had cloth diapers that caught me unaware when I was on nursery duty. Cloth diapers should NEVER be a surprise for the child care giver!!!

3. YAY Evie! Pack on those pounds!!!

I wonder what's going on with Harry? I hope you and the counselor were able to sit down and talk about it. Let us know how he, and you, of course, are doing!

I am cringing in memory that Matthew was three weeks early and that is what he weighed. (No wonder I had difficulty carrying him! GAH!)

I am also really intrigued by cloth diapers. I am not sure if I can really commit to doing it, but they are so much better nowadays that I may have to do it. Good thing I will have a LONG time to think about it as I am not even expecting, huh!

I'm excited to hear what you think about the gDiapers. I admit the first few times using them frustrated me. But I wasn't flushing them "right" and they kept clogging my toilet. I've never had to mop my floor so much.

But now, I'm an old pro and I love them. And you're right...they are cute. (What colors did you get? We have orange and white. But I love the purple one.)

Demand that school be a safe place for your son. Why are other children being allowed to pick on him? What is their plan to stop it? Who is responsible for this deplorable lack of supervision? The counselor is talking to the wrong person. Harry doesn't have the problem. It's the little bullies who need to have their parents called in. What is the school doing to correct this situation? What is their plan of action? What are they doing to make Harry feel safe in school?
