Is it time to stop slacking yet?

by Marilyn on April 23, 2008

What is UP with me and the total slackage about posting this week?? How much (and/or hard) do I suck? I think the answer is: alot and/or pretty damn hard. For shame! What is WRONG with me? I need to get over it all. And stop trying to catch up in Google Reader because I’m starting to think that will NEVER HAPPEN. I will get it down to about 20 unread items and then will have to go to bed (because it’s like MIDNIGHT and I’m a human being who does need at least an hour or two of sleep in any given day) and when I wake up in the morning, I have 70 kajillion unread items. This is how it happens EVERY day. You all have GOT to stop posting so darned much. Sheesh!

(And I’ve totally given up on keeping up with Twitter and simply check in every once in a while to see if I have any replies or if there are any relevant recent tweets that I need to know about. I refuse to be guilty about this. Simply because the math is totally on my side in this case. The more people who follow me, the more I need to follow in reciprocation and the more people I follow, the more tweets there are to read. It’s ridiculous the amount of tweets you all put out too. Good gravy, ya’ll!)

Anyhow. I know no one likes to read posts about bloggers who are complaining about posting or not posting and why they aren’t posting or don’t want to post… blah blah blah. So instead of doing that (uh… too late?) I’m just going to post some pictures of my adorable kids and hope you’ll be distracted enough by their gorgeousness to overlook both any whining or any lack of postage on my part. Good deal, huh?

Tickle Time
My sister used to do this to me so it warms my heart to see my sons continue the tradition of Tickle Time.

Repose
I think she’s approaching maximum tenderness for being cooked up for dinner.

Dolphin and Cup-cup
Watching Liam with his “cup-cup” and dolphin (tail held tenderly near face) just warms my heart every time.
