We've been trying to hold off until we do our grocery shopping this week, and buy some specific items. We have a lot of non-perishable food, but it's all in the pantry and not localized. I guess the worst part of all this is the not knowing. And today, we're experiencing a great deal of wind and it rattles the window panes so I don't know if it's an earthquake or wind. OY. It IS VERY scary. In addition to moving your furniture etc. have you gotten bottled water, canned foods, batteries, good supply of meds etc if you are without power for several days? That is also a good idea to do when preparing for an earthquake. We used to have a earthquake kit in our garage of things like this.
