Sheesh, whine much?
In an effort to put that particular unpleasant post behind us ALL (who wants to hear about someone else’s money woes? NO ONE), let me share with you some pictures of rain.
Yep, it actually does rain now and then here in Reno, Nevada. Not too often, which is why we take pictures when it does.
Still, it was really cool. Gives me an idea of what they mean when they refer to flash floods because we got all this water in a short amount of time and now? The sun is out. Pavement is nearly dry. CRAZY. Anyhow. On with your regularly scheduled programming…

Summer rain is even more rare in NV. It also rarely rains without so much wind that the rain is horizontal rather than vertical. Ah, but that smell of summer rain and thunderstorms. Yum. We don’t get that in the Bay Area much.

What is the sense of having a blog if you can’t whine once in a while?
I remember great big rain splashes like that when I was a child. Mom said the fairies were dancing. Thanks for the smile!

We’ve had some serious rain here too lately. And thankfully, Elizabeth seems to be getting over her fear of thunder!
