I'm not sure that Kitten did major belly laughs until she was 9 months to a year old. I was hoping that she'd laugh more, but she was mostly a giggler. I wouldn't sweat it too much, but bring it up to your Ped next time you see him.

I have no other advice for the rest of it. Just hugs.

Oh me and my ass-vice as usual (all said very lovingly LOL).

With the laughing? Don't worry about it! My daughter hardly EVER laughed! Tickle her and I'd get a huge smile out of her, but no laugh. Today she still loves to smile and giggle occasionally, but getting a real laugh out of her is really tricky (she's 4). I like to think it's because her sense of humor is more developed than mine is ;). (she's also the "easy" child of the two LOL).

As for the speech delay, definitely work with Liam with sign language at home. It gives you something positive to do and it can involve the whole family. Remember to say the words when you're using the language, and trust me, he'll catch on. I can tell you all about our foster child who said two words when he got here, and wouldn't shut up when he left 5 months later (with NO speech therapy).

Then there's the papers - could you ask if she could send them home or if she could make a meeting time sometime when it's convenient for you? Most schools are willing to try to do what they can.

Dumb question: how much caffeine goes through your breast milk into Evie? You mentioned something the other day about Evie having tons of energy, and since I have NO idea about what gets transferred through breast milk, I wondered if the Rockstar energy drink may have something to do with her excessive energy?
