How I killed an entire morning — slackermama . com

So someone (like I can EVEN remember who! puh-lease) twittered this link this morning and they really shouldn’t have because I had laundry I had to do and nothing got done because all I did was play with my picture, retro style! Basically, you take a picture of yourself, upload it and then pick which “year” you want to see your yearbook photo. Wanna see me, the year I graduated?

Hmm. Not EXACTLY. But mostly because that was the year I got one of those standardized senior portraits done. I’ll have to dig it up and post it someday. But in the meantime… I love the hair on this, plus the hint of flannel is SPOT ON. Oh 90’s, how I miss you.

But how about ten years earlier? What might I have looked like in 1984?

Oh my. The puffy hair, the earring, (the off-center face)… what can I say? Except RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. But I was on a roll at this point and had to see what I might have looked like in the 70’s. 1978 to be exact. Oh yes. I sure did.

Oh come on, you knew it was coming. And now I know what I would look like with a ‘fro. The answer is: not good. Good to know. Moving on…

I wanted to go REALLY old. Try something really radical. So I went back to 1960.

My favorite part is the glasses, don’t you think? Yes, my face is a little off-center here too but we can forgive it because, OMG, would you look at those GLASSES? I pretty much can’t see anything else in that picture. And going back to 1960 was so much fun that I had to go back to 1950.

And now I kinda wish I hadn’t. OY. What is with the weird coloring going on here? Though I kinda dig the curl in the hair there. Very nice. Classy. *shudder*

You know, going back in time was so much fun, I started to wonder what I may have looked like had I graduated high school in 2000 instead of 1994. Hmm…

Yeah, so I’m thinking it was a good thing I graduated when I did. Though I have to say, I enjoy the bangs here. OMG, what does that say about me? I have mall hair, don’t I? Go ahead… I can take it. While we’re at it: Me as a blond. Discuss.
