I know I was coming here to post something. And it was probably downright interesting too. But then I noticed my “Write Post” page looked like this:
This probably doesn’t look like a big deal to you, but I’ve grown fond of my tags and I just about can’t live without my media insert buttons. And that’s not all. There’s some other wonky stuff going on with the rest of the admin panel. And then there’s all the people that are complaining that they can’t read my blog.
I’ve tried to fix this all afternoon. I’ve deactivated and reactivated plugins, I’ve restarted my browser, I’ve reuploaded the WordPress files… nothing. My next step is to downgrade to the last version of WordPress but I’m starting to doubt that it’ll fix anything.
This is, quite frankly, driving me crazy. And here is when I’m supposed to be ramping up my new design (I’m very excited about it, by the way. It looks AWESOME), I’m busy dealing with this crap. AAAARRGH. I hate that!
I need a beer.
UPDATE: Okay, now, hours later, I refresh my “Write Post” screen and… it’s all back to normal. WHY? I HAVE NO IDEA. I’m glad. Puzzled, but glad.
