So. Here it is Sunday and I’ve got nothing to say for myself. Truly. I should be ashamed of myself. But when the weekend rolls around, I’m so in the business of CHILLING OUT that it doesn’t leave a lot of room for waxing poetic on my blog. So I apologize for the lack of interesting content but you should be happy to know that when I’m not posting here I’m enjoying myself so that’s something, right?
In other news, I got through my Google Reader today. Which means, TA DA, I’m all caught up. I don’t think I’ve been caught up since BlogHer. So I’m just tickled to death about this. Now no one post anything for the next couple of days so I can enjoy the blank-ness.
Also: I gave up on asking Kile to read “Twilight”. I’m just sad, is all, that no one I actually know in real life wants to read this book and talk to me about it. Do they think I have bad taste? That I would have them read a book that I know they wouldn’t enjoy? Bah. Just sad.
Which of course always gets me into thinking about my friend-less existence and how much that really sucks. But we’re all tired of hearing about that.
On that happy note, I’m going to leave you with an iconic picture Liam trying out Harry’s old tricycle. It’s just a crappy iPhone picture but I love it anyhow.

Oh, I will be your friend and talk Twilight with you. My daughter convinced me to read Twilight, and I after I finished that one, I borrowed the second and third one from a friend. Needless to say, once I finished those, I was just like my daughter, anxiously awaiting a phone call from the library saying that it was our turn to check out #4. Good news, Saturday we went to the library, and there it was. As soon as they checked it out, I snatched it out of her hand, and made off like a bandit out of the library. I promised her I would have it read by the time she got up the next morning, and I did it. (I had to stay up til 12:30 to finish it, but I did it for her). Now I have to wait for her to read it so we can discuss. Hopefully #5 will be finished soon, and we can read the continuing story of Edward and Bella!
hmmmmm I am assuming you never did join the other mommy group like everyone begged you to, me included! shame shame woman!
ok… now I only started reading Twilight because Cagey told me I would like it, and she was right. I am stuck on number three right now… not reading as fast. I think I am affraid I will finish it to quickly and be sad like I was about HP… however we will have the movie to look forward to in November. You wanna take a road trip to Kansas and go see it with me
mojavi at Simple Thingss last blog post..oh boy… or should I say girl?
I think that’s a pretty good picture, as far as cell phone pictures go!
I’m just the same with my husband. I tried desperately to get him to read Harry Potter – leaving the first book on his nightstand as a hint, asking him nicely to read it, demanding he read it – just so I’d have someone to talk to about it! I haven’t tried with Twilight yet, though. I think he’d be more likely to read Harry Potter than Twilight. He does happily go see the movie versions though, so we’ll see how he likes the Twilight movie before I decide if I’ll ask him to read it.
Also, I’m in the same boat as mojavi – I’ve just finished the 3rd Twilight book and I don’t want to start the 4th yet because I don’t want it to end!
