This is the “Christmas Movie Edition” of my Grace in Small Things list. Because little makes me happier than a good (and yes, sometimes corney) Christmas movie. Bonus points if you can tell me the movie each quote is from!
- “Sons of bitches! Bumpuses!”
- “Don’t throw me down, Clark.” “I’ll try not to, Aunt Bethany…”
- “You call this a happy family? Why do we have to have all these kids?”

Even if you think I might already have your address, send it anyhow. Because… uhm… I don’t. Ahem. (Note to self: make resolution this New Year’s to get more organized.)

3 is definitely my favourite film of all time, “It’s a wonderful life”. I must get our VHS set up so I can watch it! Or I could just buy it on DVD I guess…

Not sure of the others though.
#1 is A Christmas Story, and one of the best movies of all time, even though it didn’t do very well in the theatre at the time. What mother has never said “you’ll shoot yer eye out!” LOL
And gotta love It’s a Wonderful Life. I simply MUST see that every year, and I don’t even get tired of watching it over and over. Joshua bought the collector’s edition for me a couple years back.
