So… It’s Valentine’s Day. I feel somehow far less prepared for it this year than usual. No cards or candy have been purchased. True, some heart-shaped Valentine’s cookies were prepared yesterday but I didn’t have a hand in them. Harry made them. (in the interest of full disclosure, they were the already made cookies from Toll House that you just stick in the oven.) But STILL.
I’m not even 100% sure that I’m going to be spending the majority of this day with most of my loved ones. Though I imagine I will, even though it will mean leavingmy comfort zone and doing something I don’t really want to do. Now THAT’S love.
Anyhow, I’d like to wish all of you a Happy Valentine’s Day, whether you have a significant other or not, whether you believe in the holiday or not. I’m not as good at putting my words together as maybe Brit is (you MUST read her V-Day post), but the intention is there. I hope you area all having a great holiday and have a great holiday weekend ahead of you.
