Posting here has been a little sporadic the last couple of days. For that, I apologize. The weekend was uber-duber busy. Which is a good thing because I love weekends like that. And then yesterday I wasn’t feeling so hot so Kile stayed home so I could get some extra rest. I’m still not 100% today, but I do feel better this morning so that’s something.

Also, I’ve been knitting like a mad woman. I have SO much knitting to get through. I’m very happy to be so busy with it, but it is still a lot of work to get through and I do worry about being able to get it all done. Who wouldn’t? I also worry that I won’t have enough time to knit Christmas gifts like I have been planning on doing. As a result, I knit every moment I can in hopes that I can get through what I have to do so I can get to what I want to do.
But that isn’t to say that I don’t like it. I love it. Especially when I get to try something new! I have a baby sweater coming up that I’m knitting for a customer and I’m excited. I know it’ll be a lot of work, but I’m excited about the little details that I’ll get to work on. It looks like an adorable pattern and I’m hoping I can do it justice!

I’m starting to push potty training for Liam more than I was before. He still isn’t making the connection between sitting on the potty and GOING on the potty. How do you encourage that? I’m at a total loss. He’s fine with sitting on the potty but has yet to DO anything there. I guess maybe this is one of those things that just takes time and persistence?
Because I hate things that take time and persistence. Just so you know.

I have noticed that both PBS *and* Noggin are switching up their schedules a bit starting Monday. Which makes me ridiculously excited. Mostly because it looks like I might never have to watch Caillou again. AND, I can easily avoid Oswald as it airs at the butt-crack of dawn in these parts. So YAY for children’s programming. There is hope after all!

I actually remembered to put out the recycling today. I think that deserves a cookie since I’ve forgotten the recycling for like six weeks now. In case you were wondering, that’s a lot of empty soda cans.

I’m congested. So maybe I’m not feeling better like I said before. Maybe I lied.
Happy Hump Day, y’all. Don’t forget to set out your recycling (you know, if you’re into that sort of thing)!
