Again??

by Marilyn on November 9, 2006

Yep! I’ve changed the design of the site yet AGAIN. But you all knew that I was a little OCD when it came to this sort of thing. I just saw this image on iStockPhoto and I could not resist it. It was gorgeous (the entire image is even more stunning) and I knew I had to use it in a design. There may be some kinks to work out with the new look, but I think for the most part it’s all running well (and in some cases, better than the previous design! :blush). Do you like it? Isn’t it cozy??

I’ve decided that whenever I chuck a design and use a new one, that I’m going to offer the old design for sale. Never fear, it’ll be a very reasonable price (I’m thinking $50). I’ll even customize the header with your own site name and install it for you. Good deal, huh? Anyhow, I’ll put the information regarding that up on my Lilac Pixels page (which is undergoing it’s own transformation right now) when I get the past designs all ready. So if you like this design and would like it on your own blog, be patient! Chances are in a couple months I’ll move onto a new look and this one can be all yours. :)

In other (bizarre) news, my generic tylenol has been recalled. Apparently they’ve found little teeny pieces of metal in it. Makes me feel so good, considering I took three last night for a bitchin’ headache. Don’t even tell me that it’s what I get for buying generic all the time. :rolleyes_tb: If you’re a cheapskate like me that buys her medication generic from Wal-Mart, CVS, Safeway or Super-Valu, you may wanna check out the batch list, to see if yours is recalled too. Nice, huh? Let’s hope I don’t get another headache today. :tongue2_tb:

Lap Partner

My Lap Partner

A common sight for me when working my laptop in the afternoons.? She loves to lay next to me on the chair while I’m tapping away on the laptop.

Total Relaxation

Beetoe indulges in an afternoon nap

I think I need a nap now. This sorta drowsiness is very catching.

Photo Friday

by Marilyn on March 3, 2006

No, not a meme or anything. Just took some pictures and I wanted to share. No crime in that, huh?

Princess Beetoe Uber Snow H and his snowball

First off, we have Beetoe, the prissiest rat terrier you could ever hope to come across. I honestly don’t think she’s aware she’s a dog. This was her last night. I had a pillow on my lap because i’m a princess too and when I am working on my laptop, I set it on the pillow. Anyhow, I’d put the laptop away and Beetoe saw a perfect napping spot. This is a common sight on most nights.

Second, we have a picture of this morning’s snowfall. We’re having a “break” right now but they say we’re going to get more before it’s said and done. We’ll see. Anyhow, better late than never. We’ve had more rain than snow this winter but at least we’re getting something! I think this is winter’s last hurrah before spring starts to take over. Anyhow it’s purty. Especially cuz I don’t have to go out in it.

And third, we have H. He could hardly eat his breakfast he was so excited to go play in the snow. Here he is displaying a magnificant snowball. I would have KILLED to have been able to play in snow as a kid. Stupid deprived California childhood!
