Some of you may know that I used to do blog design as a little side business.  For several years, I was pretty busy!  And while I did (and still do!) enjoy blog design, I got burnt out.  The majority of my business was from people who were using their blogs for business reasons and while most blog designers charge extra for businesses, I did not.  I hesitate to say that I was taken advantage of, since I did not really do much to protect myself.  But designing for a business is a heck of a lot different than designing for a personal blog.  And my heart was in personal blogs.

I dropped the businesses and instead have only done small design and blog maintenance favors for friends since.  Since I had my arms full with babies, babies, babies… well, I didn’t have a lot of time for much else.  I’m getting my feet under myself at last, little by little.  And I’d like to return to some of what I did before.  Therefore, I’d like to hire myself out for technical services!  (Are you excited yet??)

I have a lot of experience with installing WordPress, with setting up new hosting, customizing blogs, adding plugins, etc and so forth.  So I’d like to offer my services to any personal bloggers that are in need of them.  As always, my prices are very reasonable.  This is because I can hardly consider myself a professional.  I’m just someone who really enjoys working with blogs.  I think I do quality work (my current blog design is my favorite of everything I’ve ever done), but I don’t care to be held up under a microscope, so to speak.  So if you need perfection, you’ll need to find someone else and you’ll need to expect to have to pay for it.  Just sayin’.
